Nutrients: Advanced Nutrients (TaNg advanced schedule.
Pots and medium: 15L airpot filled with Plagron light mix
The grow: 85 days seedling to harvest
Bag appeal: 4/5 looks great, quite dark green, due to a long slow dry, with pink/peach pistils. Extremely dense, Very frosty too.
These buds have been curing for 2 months now:
The smell: 3/5 really nice sweet candy smell but not very strong, you have to break open the buds to get a blast of bazooka joe bubble gum mixed with dank weed scent.
The smoke: 3/5 very nice and smooth (3 week flush) but loses a lot of its smell when burnt down, just smooth and a touch of sweetness and pine.
The high: 4/5 very cerebral psychedelic high, I chop when the trichomes are milky with 3-5% Amber, as I prefer an uplifting high to a 'I now want to do.....fuck all, and my jaw feels like a lead weight' kind of couch lock.
It's one of those highs were you have great ideas and epiphanies, and think, I have got to write that down! But don't, because you're really stoned. Music sounds great and films engrossing.
In depth: A real delight to grow, easy but quite a lanky (as it's advertised) plant with long branches and spear tip colas.
In veg she was really impressive and was almost 60cm tall by the time she flowered. But for me, in flower the colas didn't really swell up, the initial swell where the colas got to about the width and length of a toilet roll tube is where they stayed.
Perhaps I was expecting too much as my grow before was AutoUltimate, and I was a little underwhelmed, but the smell in flower....wow.
I was looking for the elusive 'Indiana bubblegum weed' smell and strain, and this girl is it. Hats off too Mephisto, I was so excited everytime I went to feed her, I had to rub a bud and sniff my fingers, pure lush tutti frutti bubble gum. Amazing.
Although I wasn't too impressed with the size, the density was incredible, at harvest she was truly the densest hardest buds, they would definitely have bullied any other buds I've harvested in the school playground!
So I was really happy and surprised to get a solid 4oz dry after harvest time.
4/5 grow for me, I maybe quitting growing for some time after my current cheese ladies, but if/when I start again, the single seed I have left of this gorgeous strain will be the first going into a root cube.
