Indoor Appletizer

I’m curious what the cloth dealio does? It’s a cover or the filter is made of cloth? And why can’t it be used outside the tent to filter exhaust fumes? I’m sorry it’s like I wanna suggest stuff but I’m confused 😂 but obviously smell is a big concern yeah? Just curious the difference between fan/filter inside or out?

I’m lucky to not have odor as a concern so my fan is used purely to exhaust heat and humidity. I bought a carbon filter 2 years ago that fits on the end but it’s still in the box lmao but the entire thing is up top and outta the way

The next step would be to poke a couple holes up top for the cords and put the driver up top too. Haven’t had that problem yet because it’s a 7 foot high tent. Right now plants are still 17 inches away and I can only gain 5 inches by moving the driver. The hole on the top was where my light power cord originally went to the outlet because outlet is on the ceiling but I moved it to the front side of the tent

The cloth filter, from my understanding, improves the life of the carbon filter. So I’m trying to use the cloth filter on the outside to save me a little bit of money.

Edit: it improves the life of the filter by catching some of the larger particles prefilter.

Can you put the fan and filter on top of the tent and then just attach the cloth filter to the duct that’s poking in to the tent? Then you’re still filtering through the cloth first before it hits the carbon filter.

I could possibly but thatll restrict airflow since i wouldnt be working with the whole surface area of the cloth. Itll work the fan harder, idk if they are tuned to work with resistance like that, it could cause problems for the fan. I could just take it out of the tent… idk how much they actually extend filter life…

Here we can see the fruit of picking tertiary growths untill a point. I don’t need to lollipop any significant carbon/resources off the plant, instead, all the smaller branches are towards the top of the canopy.

Below, we can see some clear trichrome development. Super cool lol. It’s unfortunate the image quality doesn’t carry through to this post.

This is just a shot to show the flower development and fairly even canopy. This is two plants and a 4 x 2 tent.

Also, the smells are not super pleasant at this point. Smells like generic bottomshelf mix of mixed buds. But when i get close theres a sweet lime smell developing. I assume its not terping yet. I just wanted to update.

Edit: it actually smells just like this cart i have from the dispo that is dislike 😆. Im sure itll mature

T try playing with the flash when trying to catch trichomes on the camera.
