New Grower huge harvest

Hey everyone..newby here. I know you can't go by wet weight but i just harvested my Afgan express from positronics and got 8 oz..yes 1/2 pound..is this normal or did i just luck out big time ??

soil grow, 8 - 32 w cfl's, fox farm nutes. 18/6 light schedule

once properly manicured/de-stemed and dry you might only have 2-3 , depends on what your harvested buds look like , as in trimmed

you will lose a lot of weight no matter how well or poorly you have trimmed , the finished product will most likely also shrink in visible size too

p.s. even if you only get 2 ounces id consider that great when only using approx 250 watts of cfl lighting

trimmed very tight to the bud, no stems that can be seen..look like they were dipped in powdered sugal..LOL also very dence

itll lose alot of water weight and youll see how dense it really is after.

2 oz dry is still very good. Repeat the steps on your next grow to achieve the same results.
Great effort.

You will lose about 70% of the weight when dry and cured.

That first harvest I did the same thing.. WOW! Look at that! Then you dry it and it's like "Where the hell did it go?". But I'd be happy with two dry OZ's. I only get a bit over an oz, so good going!

I'll be ecstatic if I'm around the 2oz. mark on my first grow. I surprised to hear 70% reduction though...I had in my head something around 55-60%

when I did an all cfl grow my dry weight was always right around 1/8 of wet weight.which would make it lil over an oz.thats still kick ass.beat my first grow with same amount of light and fox farm nutes by 20 grams.ha ha yeah my first grow was just under 8 gs

well i forgot to mention I lst'd the hell out if it..had 13 colas and a ton of side branches got 2 dinafem cheeze going now which seem much smaller..not sure how to post pics to show everyone.
