Grow Room Humidifier or fogger?

Is everyone using a standard room humidifier or do some use those Reptile aquarium foggers?
I think a fogger will be too wet. This is what I use:

I like it. You have to use RO or DI water.

They both work, but I prefer an evaporative unit like the one @Mañ'O'Green uses, although mine is a bit cheaper and smaller given my smaller grow space. Both the fogger and the ultrasound units can do the job as well, but they both put dust in the grow space when the droplets evaporate. Unlike @Mañ'O'Green, I use tap water in mine. The downside of that in my unit is that eventually the wick may have to be replaced earlier, but that is ok by me. The only part of the unit that would be affected by using tap water is the wick, and it is replaceable, so all good IMO. I am not interested in buying an RO unit, or in buying two gallons of DI water per day for the whole grow either. The RO unit would waste too much of my water which gets delivered by truck, and the cost of buying DI or RO water for a whole grow would be silly.

YMMV of course...

I finally spent the money and got an ADJUSTABLE/CONTROLABLE humidifier. My first one was not, and the humidity just kept getting out of control. (and actually blew a few T5 bulbs in my baby tent!!) Now I just set this new one to what I want and it turns on and off to stabilize. I love it, and TOTALLY worth it to be able to "adjust" for each phase of the plants life. (Seedlings 80, Veg 50-60, Flower 40, etc.)

@MassMom just make sure you run a backup hygrometer. The humidistats on these units are notoriously unreliable IME

Hi hon! I have (2) wireless hygrometer/thermometers going. The bases sit in the tents and the remotes sit on my desk so I can just look at them and make sure everything is going smooth  I used to have to open the tents to check, but now I got these cool base & remote units so now this "fussing" mom isnt making the tent lose precious heat and humidity 10x a day!

I ran a Vornado 4 gallon evaporative humidifier for a while and hated it. I could set it for 60% RH and it would still bounce between 45 and 65. I changed it out recently for a House of Hydro mistmaker in a 5 gallon bucket connected to my Niwa and the RH has stayed between 57 and 63.
