Hey guys,

What is the the ideal humidity for the veg and flower cycles? I've read lots and lots of articles all saying different values and just wandered what people thought?

Thanks

:smokebuds:Everyone might have ther own idea on this subject, but on average you should have higher humidity during the veg stage and lower during flowering. If you can keep it around 55 to 65 during veg and 45 to 55 during flowering you'll be fine.Afew degrees off either way is no big deal.

thanks for the reply, the next question therefore is what's the best way to get my humidity up?? Im currently at about 30% and am right at the start of my first ever veg stage.

Getting the humidity higher is harder than getting it lower. If your in a grow tent some people put buckets or large pans of water in front of a fan to help raise it.This will work if you have a small tent ,but pretty hard if you have a big tent. You can use a mister like they use in babys rooms and use a timer to turn it on and off depending how much you need.Keep in mind that this all has to be done in a enclosed area.If your plants look normal and healthy I wouldn't worry to much.Keeping low humidity when ther flowering is to prevent mold and other desease.

a shamwow or similar, rolled into a 'log' and secured at the bottom [zip ties work well] but fanned out like a palm leaf at the top, and sitting in a bucket or container of water [put a half brick in to make it bottom heavy] will humidify the air some....a fan blowing over it increases the effect.
