I am documenting my grow through the micro grow section but had a quick questions regarding feeding in hydro. I am using the superbox by super closet and technaflora recipe for success nutes for this grow with 4 dark devil auto flowers. It's my first grow, I got them on day 8 from the photo, and my main concern is when to feed nutes, I'll share a photo of my nute schedule that came with. I am nervous to get the timing wrong. As for now they are sitting in the net pot, one seedling may have died and I am just manually feeding them for now with 5.5ph water, temp is around low 80's, and humidity in the 30's. Also any recommendations when to turn the top feed on I've heard when roots are established but how significant?

I use the RFS. I find it very good. I use it at 1/3 strength at start of vedge, to 2/3 at full. I feed simple water root 66 and sugar daddy as a seedling. They love it. Use the cuttings section as your :seedling: schedule. I feed my seedlings 1/4 nutes. I don't bother. I never burn seedlings. But its up to you. They love the root 66 and sugar daddy at the start. Start upping the feed when she asks for it. (leaves start losing color)

Damn, I was doing that but I got nervous that I was feeding too early lol. How often do you feed in the second week? And what humidity level do you aim for? With the fan blowing over it can drop below 30% if it's off mid 30's, but idk if that fan is essential at this stage where I know humidity matter just as much or even more. Any advice?

I have grows go from start to finish with over 60% RH without any mold or issues. Your RH will be a little higher because of the dwc and more available water to evaporate. I know people try to aim high RH in veg and lower for flower because of mold problems but as long as you have good air flow around your plants you will be fine. If you want to raise the RH you can add a small bucket of water in your room that will help raise it. But 30% is ok IMO.

I actually have three tents. My 5x5 is 100% controlled in temp and humidity. Its my flowering room (Filter :)

So im at 40% humidity in their. I also have a 3x3 with a simple exhaust fan setup and ambient RH. Which is now.... 41. But it goes down to 20. My plants in that tent or incredibly healthy, however I do run co2 it doesn't effect the fact my RH is low. Ive not had issues running from 20-65% RH and even 100% in my propogation dome for its first week.

Now for the RFS. -

I ALWAYS Feed - water - water - feed- water - water. And your nute solution should provide your girl with what she needs. Your fine at 30 and I don't use a fan ever directly on the plant. I find it warps the leaves, causes yes, dry ness on leaf surface, and can mimic signs of heat stress. I have a general fan or two that balst air around the room and everything receives a "breeze" but no more.

The RFS is great but just take it veeeery easy when going into vedge and feeding. Their chart is exceptionally strong for soil application.

Example my vedge ppm is 800-1000. Ph 6. Blooming at 1400 ppm ph 6.2

Thanks for the advice guys! Hopefully I start to see some changes soon, I'm feeding half strength root 66 and sugar daddy, I mixed that into the resevoir , I did shut that fan off also, I could see possible negative effects and could explain the other seedling drying out. But we're on day 9 no changes for past few days on growth, hopefully they blow up soon. Ppm of resevoir around 250, temp 84, humidity 30

The one in the back is Day 6 I started her using a different germ technique when I thought I killed the other lol

Im worried about space. These grow big. I don't know if its a bushy strain but my northern lights is 25 days old and its this big.

Woof I see what you mean, I'm going to build a Scrog net prolly this weekend, the box is very small I'll have to do something, maybe even induce flowering nutes early?
