Grow Mediums Hydroton vs hydrocorn?

I heard hydroton tends to cause ph problems in hydro applications. The 2 products are here. Your experience or thoughts on either of the 2?

Hey man, I only have experience with the hydroton but as long as you rinse them a few times and let them soak in a Ph'd solution you shouldn't have any kind of PH fluctuation (caused by the pebbles).

I'm on my second grow using Hydrocorn with no pH related issues. As Pal23 said, make sure you wash it well before use. It can be reused, but again, must be washed well first.
