Live Stoner Chat I am looking to learn

New England cold

Thanks Maximus I am getting confused what is a good set up for a tent in basement?

I wouldn't worry to much about custom spectrums until you get used to growing with led's, it's not worth the extra cost for custom until you know what range you need. The big thing is not to overthink it and get an idea from people on here, I'm a Vipar user simply because they are the easiest generic led panels for me to get hold of where I live, the decision can come down to location as most panels are pretty similar $ for $.

Most of us on here are growing with stock panels, I did a basic guide a while ago, it's not updated yet with the next gen panels like the new GN units but it'll give you an idea of what to look for.

Don't believe a word the various companies say about lumols, par, watts, spectrum, etc. that they say are why their panels are the best ever - the advertising is way worse and totally unregulated so make sure you see a grow log of their lights in action at least before you click buy!

As for your overall setup, just tell us what space you have and what grow medium you are choosing and you'll get a load of help on how to set it up best :Sharing One:

Hey there,
When I first started on here, I wanted to put a grow journal together that would show a beginner how to grow. I didn't know what I was doing, so put it all out there. I used LED (still do), so perhaps this journal will help. Biggest learning: keep your PH correct, let about 20% of your fert water dribble out the bottom of your container when you water (to keep PH from bouncing, and reduce salt/mineral build up), and to use CalMag. I've learned that since this grow journal.
