8week flowering lowryder [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG],soil, ff nutes

Everything was going swimmingly until I decided to over defoliate. Since defoliation I've noticed multiple leaves showing inter-vein discoloration reminding me of MG or even light stress. I decided to do a mild flush yesterday and feed her RO ca/mg only water. I'm really confused on what this issue is and am hoping for some insight to save the girl.

I can't diagnose the Browning of the leaves but i i have read some interesting information about flushing. It doesnt actually do anything for taste and health of the plant. I am not an expert.... Yet[emoji106]

I respectfully disagree, if your soil is hot or ph imbalance one would assume flushing to a base/controlled level would assist in fixing the issue.

Thanks for the reply...

What are you feeding her and have you been using cal/mag before the flush?

She is on a FoxFarms diet/schedule, made in 1 gallon containers w/RO water and calmag plus @ 5ml per directions. I don't feed her the whole gallon, but it's easier to prepare that way. PH has been a steady 6.5-6.8 the entire grow. I grow under 6 CXB3590s dimmed to 250watts in a 30x30" tent.

This is my second lowryder that I've grown. The only difference this grow has been the heavy defoliation done the other day. I expected some shock but not a deficiency or whatever this is. Based off my research it looks like a MG or K deficiency but it doesn't make allot of sense because I didn't have these issues before the fans were cut.

I doubt the defolazation would cause this.If your giving 5ml cal/mag per gallon i would raise it to 10ml during flowering. What are the npk values and dosage of your FF nutes.

The core NPK values for the FF three part line are:
Name/ Week 8 Amounts (Tsp)
Grow Big - 6-4-4 (2)
Tiger Bloom - 2-8-4 (2)
Big Bloom - 0-.5-.7 (3)
ppm total: 1800ish

Dosage for last grow and this one has been on need basis, in that if she looks like she can handle a full dose I give it to her, if she starts to show issues I back off and water-down the dosage. Currently she is getting about 1k ppm of the above at 6.8ph.

Are you thinking MG?

My concern regarding defoliation is I would imagine it's possible it changed it's nutrient requirements and/or the fan leaves act as a buffer in some capacity. Obviously no real clue or I wouldn't be asking for help.

:toke: Ed'-- I'm thinking this is mostly, if not entirely P defc, but is manifesting more atypically that usual,... the clue to me is the interveinal necrosis in that near stripe-like pattern, and that's she's in bud too (veg' symptoms look a bit different)... Ca defc. can look similar sometimes, and this is hitting up high (Ca is poorly mobile so it hits mid to uppers),... this is not typical of P but it happens.... I think the sudden loss of the leaves might have been the tipping point for a borderline defc. of P...( but nothing says it can't be some of both!) ..... Recall, the fans are also store houses of sorts as well as energy centers, and when you defoliated, you took out supply lines! Movement of certain nutes is an energy consuming process,... This defol' trick is a whole separate discussion, but from what I gather, if you do it at a significant level, the plant/roots and env. have to be tight-dialed in and rocking first, or it's a real gamble on returns,...
You feed pretty generously,.. do you plain water to about 10-15% run-off in between feeds? The concern here is nute salts build up, which can lead to uptake issues, if not pH issues at the same time,... I agree with the guys here, up the Ca-Mg some since you're using RO,.. what brand Ca-Mg?
How do you measure your in-pot pH? I caution, the run-off method is very iffy! Best tool for the $$ is the Accurate 8 soil pH probe (long one)--> :phsoil: nothing beats direct measurement-
