New Grower I GOT THE FEVER!!!

Newbie here....... My first grow is on day 11 and going pretty good......very excited. Was thinking about starting a veg room with a DIY drip system so I went to Lowe's and got started......

I want to veg until the plant reaches 16" to 24" but don't know if T5s will provide enough light/penetration.

I will be flowering to harvest in my 4X4 grow tent.

I would veg tell there about 16" this will give a plant that's about 3 foot tall on the end. When I use to grow under a T5 I would top the plants when they were around 8"-10" tall, let them get about 14"-16" tall after this before switching the light. I would strip the bottom 1/3 or so of the plant some times the bottom 1/2. I use to grow in a 2x5 closet with usually 2 plants this way. Not the largest harvest but at the time I was still figuring things out. Could pull about 1/2 LB dry this way on a good grow back then. How powerful are your LEDs, why not flow under them? They probably penetrate better than a T5.
