Look I tell ya these new cars give me the #$@% s , I have a Nissan Navara dx 3.0 di , I had to change the alternator on it and what a major pain in the butt , not enough room to work in , never again will I buy a new car , I had a series 3 land rover and loved it , ok no mod cons but I could go any where in it , winch on the front some snatch straps all is good , AND lots of room in the engine room to work , so what are you guys driving in the bush

I was about to say what? But then I saw where you said it wasn't yours.

Dude, I feel ya...I recently bought a 98 Mazda Protege because there isn't one problem in it I can't fix in my driveway...even the Timing belt is a breeze. Anything past the year 2000 seems like it requires Laser-grade technology just to get the timing right...not to mention the cramped space in the engine bay you speak of.

The one in your pic would be a dream for me to work on in my drive way.
