I just moved yesterday to a new apartment. I used to have an attic access i vented exhaust air/heat into in the old apartment. I do not have that option now given the space i have for my tent. At best i can recirculate the air within the room the tent is set up in (even though i know heat buildup will occur) I have a 240W blackstar and a 150w Sun Systems HPS light in a DR90. I havent set the tent back up since we just unloaded everything yesterday. Any ideas or thoughts on how i can contain heat buildup? Any replies are appreciated!

The first thing that came to mind was somehow tying into your bathroom vent or if you have a vent above your stove. Those would be the only 2 stealth paths I can think of.

Was having ALOT of problems as such and have found that putting tent near a window and open it the cool fresh air will at least be being sucked in through passive intake (depends on your set up) I have filter to fan to light and sucking air out of tent, causes a negative pressure and it sucks the cool air In from the opened window... You could also depending on how stealthy you need to be, you could run ducting out of room Abd let it exhaust into hallway... Just some ideas... What inline fan? Your set up?

Best of luck!

i have a passive intake, a 4inch inline sucking through a phresh filter causeing negative pressure in the tent. i know i can survive through the cooler fall and winter months with a little bit of window opening, but im looking for the long haul, where i live summer is hot and humid as hell. I need to be as stealthy as can be, my state is probably gonna be the last onboard cause they are too conservative for their own good. I would love to vent out of the attic space (but it is directly in the middle of the hallway). All of this would be fine if we were hermits!!!

was tempted to buy another 240w blackstar to replace the 150w hps and prey for the best. At the very most extreme add a portable AC to the room during spring/summer months. Im just trying to plan for the worst catagory

does the room have a heat/ac vent close enough to the tent....it's pretty mcgiver-ish,but you could remove the grille cover and insert your 4'' flex right up inside....instant climate control ..if used on the intake side,or exhaust your heat out,but it will probly just go into the next room.

or...get a plastic tote....place fan inside...cut intake and exhaust holes....attach filter to Exhaust side of fan run flex hose from intake side of fan to the tent
now this box with filter sticking out must be on the floor beside the tent....fill box with attic insulation for stealth operation...
this not only gives your plants more room, but IMO,improves airflow...it seems more efficient to push air through the filter..
also ...circulating fans help tremendously.
small portable heaters and window a/c units are also an option...

or just run the led when it gets too hot.

Its the third night living in the new town house apartment....that hallway attic access is taunting me! I do think when the weekend comes im climbing up in there. Its super close to where i want to set my tent back up. Just wanna make sure all is good before i make a 4 inch hole in the ceiling. Ive done drywall way back when i was younger, i can patch that in the future
