Hey guys. It's been a few weeks since I've been on. My wife just gave birth to our third child a few days ago. Things have been pretty crazy around here lol.
Up until 4/20 It had been three weeks or so since I had smoked. Trying to find a job and all that now that the wife is on maternity leave. No luck in this crappy town
I went ahead and gave in on 4/20. I figured I could get clean again within a week and since I had no interviews or anything scheduled I went for it. Who turns down weed on that day? I smoked quite a bit of some Sugar Black Rose that a friend of mine grew just for the occasion. It was amazing.
We had roughly 2oz. He had already dug into the jar a little before we met up. The stuff was absolutely beautiful and had the sweetest tasting smoke I've ever inhaled. Pretty nice high too. Over the course of 8 hours we burned the entire bag between what became 3 people midday. I was so stoned I couldn't talk on the phone when people called, and my buddy had to call his girl to come pick him up because he was obviously too baked to drive. All in all, it was an awesome day and a great celebration of the herb, as well as a good stopping point for smoking so I can continue job hunting.
I was looking through my stuff today and I remembered that the freebie seed I received from my recent herbies order was a SBR and I am now super excited. I can't start my Dark Devil seeds yet as I ran into some issues with the grow space and lights, etc. But while I'm waiting on that I figured it wouldn't hurt to try and start the freebie seed outside in a pot on the back porch. It's really not even a porch. It used to be a room of this ancient house we live in but It was not remodeled when the rest of the house was and the owners at the time just kind of let it go..so it has no roof and busted up windows but it gets amazing sun almost all day long and doesn't let much wind in to spread the smell of one plant too far. I have a 3 gallon(roughly) concrete pot with drain holes at the bottom. Thinking of just throwing some soil and perlite in there and see what happens over the course of the week. If it looks like it's gonna go for it I'll begin feeding it at the proper stage and so on. Going to hop over to the outdoor forum and see what I can learn. Any advice anyone wants to share is also welcome.
Anyways, Hi again everyone!
