New Grower Ideas for temporal plant hide?

About the climate, it's still - 10 celcius here. I went to attic just to make sure there really is no electricity. There is a plug right next to the main door but it might be little suspicious if an extension cord went to my cabinet... But, now having spent more time there I realized how cold it is up there. So basement is next. It's further away and most likely visited more often. But supposedly gals don't hermi there, thanks to warmth, and no mystery sound making animal(s).

I'm soon off to buy the stealth material. They must be hidden in the morning (not tomorrow but sometime next week). Now they are on 18/6 cycle. Should I change to 24 to give them "reservoir" light that last night before the 2 days in darkness?

i would keep them going as steady as you can before the change, less stress.

Yeah, extra stress from light cycle change occurred to me as well.
As for hiding place, they will be put inside the apartment now. I put them in cleaning cupboard that has a lock. I already tested it last night with the biggest and stinkiest (although they're far from skunk) in a cardboard box wrapped in plastic. Then I sprayed odor removal and put one air freshener there. 6 hours later it only smelled like a cleaning cupboard should. The cupboard is in the kitchen so I'll also fry garlic everyday :D

That will suffocate them and invite mold to get a foothold. Don't spray air freshener in the box with them (if I read that right) you'll get nasty chems all over your plants.

Oh, bit of clarification.. They are in coco so I'll moist lightly, it stays like that number of days. And maybe 'wrapped' is a bad choice of words. It is more like a hood on top of cardboard and an inch or two from the bottom is left bare for some air circulation. The plastic is there to cover the biggest seams and that odor removal spray, which is sprayed to very top of the cupboard not into box itself.

I understand you're in a spot and have to do what you need to. Sorry about that :(
Hope it all works out!

It seems to!
Today is 3rd, and last, day in darkness. This evening they'll go under the sun again. I'm thinking 24 hours to get them back in 18/6 where dark time is night. Yesterday when the guests went away for a while I took the girls out and fed them. No droopy leaves or sick colors, only one snapped branch. And they seem fluffier than before the box and I hope the veg is now completely over. My main concern fresh air is only a concern :D

edit: Sunbathing now and familiar hum of CF air circulator

Thanks! From now on I must excuse myself being busy until they are ready (day 46 now). They are troopers though. Some bent leaves are the only battle scars. They didn't smell at all and altogether much easier experience than I expected and worried about the well being of the plants.
