Full disclosure: i'm baked out of my effing mind at the moment.
So I harvested my MI5 F1 yesterday (sunday)High 5. I grew WAYYY too many plants for my space
(5 plants in a 2x2 area, everything got overgrown very quickly). i ended up with a lot of what I'll call B+ grade weed (heavy resin, but airy) that grew just below the main canopy
. i froze several pounds (wet, fresh) of B+ grade weed for hash oil or butter extraction later (since i read somewhere that to get the maximum terpine profile, super fresh shit should be frozen and then use butane to wash it while everything is frozen so the water never has a chance to be in liquid form and dissolve undesirable water soluble things like chlorophyll).
Long story short, I ended up with some seriously clear, light amber/canary yellow oil. :bone:
Then, I went to my grow tent turned drying tent, picked a mediocre looking small bud that was still quite wet (one day after harvest, after all), went to my vape (ssv), wiped a liberal sample of the oil on a small portion of the bud i had grabbed, and just put the whole oil slathered bud into the vape, and using looong slow pulls to first evaporate all the water, then vape the goodies eventually vaped the whole thing. :smoke: the oil tasted VERY medicinal, in a way that i absolutely am in love with. it's a welcome change from just smoking the same thing for the past 4 or 5 months (Jack Herer).
ANYWAY, my original point was to come here and sing the praises about MI5, because for holy sh*t snacks, I love it. That's really it. It's a great plant in pretty much every way. :gthumb: <- my seal of approval.
