AMOUNT OF TIME OWNED:- 5 weeks for the first one second one so far 1 week
PERSONAL THOUGHTS (please be frank,if the vaporiser is poor we want to know):-
It looks like a Zippo.
It is bigger than a Zippo H 78mm. X W 50mm. X D 23mm
Come with 3 spacers if you want to half fill your chamber and also comes wit 2 spacer removers it also help get your old vaped herbs out.
Housing is stainless steel apart from the oven door which is metal on the inside and silver plastic on the out side ( this so you dont birn your fingers on the oven door) the downside is the silver chips with use. There is a spare oven door included and replacement oven doors can be bought.
Comes in a wooden display box, nice but not really necessary and not the best craftmanship but ok if it is a gift.
First charge is 12 hours and after first charge charging time is 3-4 hours. One of the nice things about the Indica 2 is it can be used when plugged in even if the battery has run down.
It has 5 heat settings
Operation - Hold down button until it flashes (whitey/blue) then two button clicks for each colour (temp) after each colour is solid and not flashing.
Full charge = 90 minutes of use.
Medium plumes of vapor, higher temps will get you thicker plumes but will also be a little more tickly on the throat.
Stainles steel vapor path gives you decent flavor, the only thing that would be better is if it was glass vapor path , but honestly stainless steel is very close.
I love the size and the way it looks and its seriously solid build quality. It also feels good in the hand and is relatively stealthy.
Due to its design it is very good at keeping in the smells, if it is in your pocket no one will smell it, unlike the DaVinci Ascent which will let others know you like a bit of herb (think - bisto kids ahh)
For the first five weeks I was seriously loving this vape until the oven malfuntioned and stopped producing heat. The irony of this was...... this happened 1 day after my Puffit 2 malfunctioned. When the Puffit malfunctioned I though well a least I've got my Indica as a back up. This meant when out and about the pipe had to be redeployed. I have now become totally adjusted to vaping 100% of the time & combustion is just not the same.
After a chat with Mr. Vapefiend all was sorted with a new Indic 2 being sent out express delivery. VapeFiend have exemplary customer support, friendly , efficient and swift, I could not ask more from a supplier. ***** 5 star customer support!
My new Indica has not had any problems and hopefully won't. Watch this space, if I do have a problem, I will be sure to post it here.
On the whole I am happy with this vape and find it a very convenient and well shaped to just stick in my pocket.
