New Grower Indoor 400w hps Nl auto

Could anyone tell if my humidity is to low it runs at up to 58% at night between 68 to 72 degrees an 30%to 45%during day at 76 to 78 degrees I read a lot of ppl don't worry about it that the plant will adapt to the climate as long as they are watered properly that humidity is really mainly key as seedlings is this truer or am I ok where I'm at or raise it up?

It could be a little higher with lights on maybe 55 to 60 but I wouldn't worry that much where your at now.

NL can produce very solid harvests in the right conditions & with the right grower. But trying to predict yield with a first time grow is just guesswork. If you have a knack for it and things go smoothly, I'd say an ounce or more per plant isn't out of the question. Maybe trouble hits and you get less, and maybe you hit it out of the park and get more. I would recommend you just concentrate on learning and reading your plants, and let the yield work itself out. Lots of new growers focus too much on weight and end up disappointed. :peace:

Thanks a lot Andy I will do that I have been reading about three hours every night from the bible to forums an websites to library book an even a couple books I bought I feel like I am very knowledgeable an will be able to read my plants but I got this site just in case an for extra backup I have a friend who has been growing indoors an out for the last 27 years an he has taken me under his wing to learn he says good growers are hard to find anymore lol well thanks all hopefully they grow like wildfire an anyone have any opinions on lst I think I'm gonna give it a try

I had grown 6 auto NL from GHS and RQS in two different places. In one place they were with auto Royal Critical from RQS and another with legendary Think Different.

Both grows were in bad conditions, as you call a mix of mistakes and environmental troubles.

I got 45g from two RC and 90 grams from 3 TD. Smoke was OK, totally satisfactory for the number of mistakes made.

When it comes to NL, 6 pieces grown in two locations gave me 180g, what seemed fine but the stuff had no taste, no smell, no potency.

I was happy that mold came into the jar at the end, so I threw 50 grams away and I was happy, because I had learned how mold can affect your buds in a month if not stored properly. That was an experience that was worth more than all NL crappy stuff and because of that mold I am happy about it, mold occurs in a moment where I live and it was really valuable lecture for me.

So, back to NL, if your NLs are grown in bad conditions most likely my sad story will repeat in your grow room. And they looked very perspective at the biggining, just the buds did not fill up as they did on RC and TD. I hope you see the picture, this is exactly one of them.

I believe that NL is very good strain, one just need to grow it properly as many, many other strains.

Good Luck.

Definitely looks overwatered to me, as well as generally being unhappy in those jiffy cups. The taproot of an auto can reach the bottom of a pot three times that size in 12 days. I suggest you let them dry out and then get them in their final pot soon afterwards.

Hello and welcome. You are getting some good advice. Be careful about reading up on autos, unless it was written within the last few years it may be wrong. A few things I have learned (the hard way) 1. Don't overwater seedlings. 2. Don't transplant autos. 3. Control ph. 4. Start feeding with 1/4 recomended rate. These girls go fast so if you start wrong you end up poorly most times. Every grow seems to have one or two just doing something different than others. Geans are not as stable as photos, I guess. Good luck and good karma.
