inline fan size?

hello,
I've recently built a 2 foot x 4 x 5 foot tall grow box. space really isn't a problem due to using quantum boards as lights. also, its a grow box so no need to worry about the sides sucking in, im a noob if that doesn't make sense (first grow). Any suggestions on inline fans and/or size? thanks alot for your help as always, greatly appreciated!

You should be fine with a 4” extraction fan for that box. I have a cheap 190cfm Vivosun fan off amazon that’s been running strong for over a year now, no issues. I’ve used it in both my 4x6x6, and 3x3x6. I just actually bought another one for my 2x4x5 tent that I’m just setting up. A fan controller is also helpful in getting everything fine tuned.

appreciate the quick reply. along with the 4' inline, should i put a fan or two that blow on the plant, oscillation fans per say?.

Good air circulation is key, so make sure you have a light breeze moving through the plants. It doesn’t have to be pointed right on them, I have mine off to the sides or above the plants.

I recently changed back to a 2x4 tent and use my 6" inline fan that I was using in my 4x4. I like to have wiggle room and the 6" gives it to me for a 2x4.

I also have a 4" vivosun from Amazon in a 3x3x6 tent. It helps keep the temps down and scrubs the air.

Experts have most likely paid for their hardware many times over . That subject comes up every now and again but it just is not anything the site owners are interested in doing at this moment.
