I bought a light a couple of months back from craigslist 90watt ufo didn't last long maybe a month

Are the lights from marshydro any good?

How long have you guys had them for? Which model? Prices seem really good

Have any of you guys used apollo leds?

realcarlos pop22 has two of the UFOs and recommends them. I think NekoSempai has one UFO. I just bought the 3Wx100 Original model which was only $100 in the US. I also have a Mars II 700W that I've had success with even as a beginner. I just got the 3Wx100 and have not used it for long. The Mars II has been running for 8 months for about 18hrs. a day. The Mars II is more heavy duty but the smaller light is still of good quality. Peace

I got what draws 180W and advertises it at 400W. It does seem to double the brightness of my 400 Indagro next to it. The LED was just $139 on ebay.

just my 2cents....
When dealing with ebay...Always look at the sellers feedback. If there are negatives - make sure you read those first!

Also...when looking for led's--$ .30 a watt is a good deal (take the selling price and divide it by the # of watts in the light)
anything below .30 and its a super deal (of course not all leds are made equal - this is just a general rule I go by)
 
and after looking at that sellers link u posted....stay far away from him
If you notice in his feedback the last 3 sales....all of the buyers have 1 feedback each...its a scam job. The guy prob has multiple accounts - and those sales are bogus.

I purchased a mars hydro (300 watt) two month ago. three diodes failed in the first 500 hours of operation. some people have had good luck with this light some have not.I think if you are going to use leds you need to spend the money to get a high quality unit. I replaced all the diodes in mine with high quality bridgelux diodes and it works well now but the new diodes cost more than the original light.CREES and Phillips diodes would be more efficient but the cost would have been a lot higher. spend the money for a good high quality light up front

Yes US $. Both lights took about 7 days to arrive from California to the East Coast. They have a warehouse somewhere in Europe. As far as I know they use Cree diodes.
