Just a quickie update to show how the LST is going and they are taking off. This is two days after the bucket change on the auto skunk mass and two days after I started the LST on the autoBlue berry. Roots are really streching into the buckets now. so far pH has been stable and the EC has not showed any drastic change. Here are the pics

Anyone ever feel a little bad tying them up? Cant help but feel a little sorry for her, she just looks, flat and not nearly as proud.

Thanks noods, my constant worry is the heat!!! Res temps are sitting at over 25 during the day, and the cab temps are around 28. Hey its an experiment! hope it works, and the doing the LST is like doing a grow for the first time, just can't wait to get home to see what mother nature is doing. AutoBlueBerry is a Beautiful plant! Auto Skunk mass is coming out with some giant long fingered leaves, these two plants are totally different. ASM was sitting at 1.1EC and doing fine, but the Auto BLue like a lower EC, she is at .92 right now after adding another liter of H2O.

Growing is fantastically addictive!

My fellow addict, I have no idea about DWC and res temps, but as long as you have good ventilation and some wind cooling the plant/leaves, 28° in your cab is ok. :smokebuds:

I do feel bad when I tie them and even my last LST attempt lasted 2 weeks and I cut loose the bondage of my Russian Dragon and now she looks like little rose bush but I like her :ama:
I like my girls natural but if you have limited space, LST could be beneficial.

Never too late Stone! the good part is just starting!

Just did a fresh res change on the AutoBlueberry Bucket today. And I added in some more tie downs for the LST.:dance2: With a grid you could almost SCROG these babies pH is sitting at 5.75, and the EC is at 1.0. The Temps in the cab are about 30 C and the Res temps are over 25.

You can see that AutoSkunk Mass is starting to take off too, there are the two "main" stems and then there is a third one that is poking its little head above the screen. I am still searching for the little white hairs on this one, hopefully tomorrow. As soon as she get a little taller I am going to tie her up too.

These plants has such a different leaf structure I am so glad to be using DWC, there is more pH and EC checking, but SO much more control. :thumbs:

Got my seatbelt fasted, hoping these ladies can stand the HEAT:firedevil: and go the distance....
