Herbies has a great reputation for sending beans to peeps. They have the better prices, but if you go Attitude seedbank, you pay a little more, but you also get freebies and rock solid reputation.

There are also breeders and distributors on this site you can check out their strains, and thier products here. You CANNOT do transactions on this site, but these representatives for their respective companies are here to help guide you and help with any questions you have about thier products.

Get a desk lamp, you can get a cheap steel one from Walmart for $10.
Then pick up a grow bulb. Depending on the strength, $10-30.
Set it next to the plant, but to the side, so it doesn't show from the outside.
That should give you a little more pot. During the veg phase of my first grow,
I used 2 lamps like that.

Well, I don't have much money to start off with, maybe 50 bucks (Don't laugh at me I am a college student and it not cheap) but i do have quite some time since most of it is spent at home. Do I have to add nutrients I'm not sure on that? please let me know.

Yes you will need to add some kind of nutrients after the plant uses up what the soil has in it but it will be up to you on what kind since there is so many.

So rag tag your soil, steal it from your mom's garden, or the University's garden. just put a plastic bag in your backpack. Or a cheap bag of Jiffy Potting Soil for about five bucks, I have been seeing "Schultz" organic soil for about 8 bucks a bag, add some perlite, and that should get you going. just stay away from Miracle grow. You are gonna need most of your cash for the seeds. If you can find a site that will sell you the amount of seeds you want to buy. Is that two? three seeds? Then you could maybe get them cheaper.

Check the ingredients of your soil. Make sure it is healthy soil and doesn't contain "addatives" or "Chemicals" because that can make things very confusing if your grow doesn't go exactly perfect.

Before we suggest nutrients for you, please do some homework first. (you still have plenty of time to decide) See exactly why people use the stuff they use, remember are you organic or not? Then come back and ask the questions that have gone unanswered so far. You can find nutient information all over this site including the places I have already mentioned.

Master Eek especially, and others have given some wonderful info. And please, by all means, no one thinks you're stupid. Ask away, because the only stupid questions are the ones you don't ask. You wanna grow a little ganja, nothing wrong with that. Just be careful in your window sill. Security first, mate. :thumbs:

Herbies Head Shop is great by the way. Good prices, selection, shipping, service and good at being discreet too. A small bag of Fox Farm Light Warrior is around 10 bucks. Then look for some All Purpose Shultz Organic plant food. Green liquid in a bottle with a dropper, like 4 bucks. Liquid Ph tester kit from a grow shop or pool shop, maybe 5 bucks. That should get you by for what you wanna do.

The single seed centre is a good place to go if your looking to buy just a couple seeds I have read a lot of great reviews on here about them.

ALSO I'M TOOOOOO SCARED TO STEAL ANYTHING BUT I WILL GO TO HOME DEPOT AND MENARDS AND SEE WHAT THEY HAVE AS FAR AS SOILS AND NUTRIENTS. FYI, All Caps is considered yelling. You're excited so it's understandable, just wanted to throw that out there. LOL

Peat and perlite is wonderful, might wanna scoop a bit of lime to buffer the Ph. Dolomite lime. Pretty cheap stuff. If you happen to see any Monrovia soil, that stuff is good and cheap too. Blue Bag Monrovia. Found mine at ACE and have used it when I was out of my regular medium and it has worked pretty decently.
