Harvest & Curing Is curing needed for alcohol tinctures?

A lot of people who have made marijuana tinctures eventually seem to decide to give their weed a water cure in order to remove as much of the clorophyll as they can before adding in the alcohol. The people who don't do that seem to have a hard time with the taste.
