I’m currently growing Double Grape for the first time ( I’ll be posting a journal in here in the next day or two) im noticing some issues early on. I’m in a 5x5, growing in 100% coco, plants are in 1 gal airpots that I’ve just put into Autopot trays w/aqua valves (using standard Autopot system- no airdromes, didn’t like using 3.9 gal pots that come with system, and I’m trying this setup out for the first time.) I rigged my airpots so they would be suitable for sucking up water from the trays...
Lighting is an HLG 550 knock off (v.1) plants are 28 days old. For the majority of their life temps have been about 80... sometimes 1 or 2 degrees up or down and humidity around 75% up til around day 20 and then just under 70% for a few days. I noticed some leaf edges curling and thought it might be light stress so I raised my lights and dialed the power down even more but things still progressed. It didn’t look like the traditional “taco-ing” I’ve seen in the past when light might’ve been a bit intense on past grows but again these are rather young plants and I already was giving them lots of distance ~4 feet. So I’ve got temps at 75 now and humidity @ 53%. Hoping things might normalize for me right now but I’d love to hear input from anyone with experience with the strain, info or advice on this condition and what to expect going forward. Basically, everyone is welcome to chime in on anything! Lol. My sincere thanks in advance...

Hey @R_HIDIA
What other strains are you doing and how many Double Grapes? If more than 1 are they doing the same thing or just 1? doing the same thing Have you lifted your pots? Are they wicking good? Did the pots ever dry out toom much? Just checking. It is possible to have a sensitive plant, or maybe it is in a Hot spot lighting wise. Try to move it if you believe you have a lower light area. 4ft away shouldnt be light stress, but worth a shot to move it if you think it could help. Good luckx slow

Thanks for chiming in @slowandeasy. I’m running 9 Double Grape 8 are in 1 gallon airpots in Autopot trays and 1 is in a 5gal airpot. Also have a white crack x double grape in a 3 gal airpot. I’m noticing symptoms on 2-3 of them. I’ve been on top of these water wise so no pots have ever dried out. Actually took each one out yesterday to defoliate/manipulate some branches. Pots are actually wicking quite well- so well that I’m going to need to be vigilant about the roots not clogging up the aqua valves. A few of the pots had some pretty long roots coming out the bottom! I’ve moved the most affected plant into the corner of the tent out of direct light and even had things dimmed down quite a bit and still noticed progression of the problem days after doing so and the other plants that showed issues were in opposite areas which made me feel like it was strictly a heat issue. I’m wondering if they’re more susceptible to heat stress when they’re also better no pushed a little hard on their feeds... I don’t really have major mute burn or anything but I can see signs that I’ve been giving them about as much as they can take and maybe a sprinkle more! I have been going 24/0 lighting from the beginning but pulled the plug last night to give them a rest and just turned on the lights. Going to monitor them today. I think I have some timers a friend gave me, considering switching to 20/4 schedule going forward.
