Hey

I topped one of my plants and it responded well and yielded more compared the the un-topped one. My question is can topping be done more than once on a single plant? If done right it seems easier compared to LST in my experience at least :)

Thank you

Yes, it is certainly is "possible to top more than once." I'm sure it happens in nature and some growers may purposely do it.

But it seems too much stress. You can force rapid successive branching, but the resulting stems will all be thinner, wimpier, not have time to develop before having to support more branching. Maybe this could just end up stunting growth? But it may work, even well, if you allowed enough time (multiple nodes growth) for the new forced branches to grow some/enough.

Is repeated topping a good way to get a lot of small top/terminal buds?

Absolutely!

These girls are photos, so its a little different. @Vapo does a modified mainline on their plants with much success. I intend to try my own version on my next auto run.
