This northern light is 12 weeks old. cant really look at trichomes, plan on buying miscroscope but not till after xmas. Are they done?

You might want to pick the top cola, lower you lights a bit and leave those lower buds for another week. They look like they could go a little longer.

Think thats what ill do.. Do i just snip the buds from the stem? How do i take the top without killin the plant?
