New Grower Is this a hermit?

I have a plant that on each of the nodes just one balls looking thing with two pistils coming out are there.. What is this? Beginning of foxtailing or hermie?

how old is she? Just looks like cylax to me. It's all good.

she's about 5 weeks old aprox.... that's what i figured (couldnt think what there called) just wanted to be sure

I have found that if you take the time to collect a lot of cylax it can be quite potent although slightly harsh.

Swollen calyx for sure.

I also like to collect these as it gives me a early taste without picking at the buds.

This swelling of the calyxes is what occurs to your buds when they ripen and is why buds pack on weight in the last weeks.

Sometimes these swollen calyxes are called false seed pods, which is abit of a misnomer, a swollen calyx is just a sign of maturity of that particular calyx.

In some strains the calyxes swell more than other strains and gives them that bunch of grapes look.

Can not thank you guys enough for the quick responses! that is such a relief as I've been stressing the shit out of these ladies to make sure they are not hermit probed before taking to f3. Have put a lot of work into her,,, my rd x super skunk, who knows maybe by f4 or f5 I could possibly get some interest from those that be :cough: and they could go into test or something, otherwise they will never see the light of day
