OK, break it to me gently...This is a male plant, isn't it?

I will spare you the details, but this plant was grown from a "feminized" seed. My temps are always in the 80's, so I assume that either I lost the feminized seed lottery, or that the temps stressed it into being a male.

Thank you!

how old is it? I dont see anything yet

It is in its third week, and thanks for the quick reply. This is my first plant ever, so to say that "I know what I'm looking for" wouldn't be accurate. I have been looking through example pictures of male/female preflowers and it looks like "balls" appearing between the nodes to me, but like I said...I have never done this before.

Thanks again!

Thanks, Sofa...I would LOVE to smoke a bong right now, but I moved to a new town and don't know anywhere to score. So, I'm trying to be self-sufficient and grow my own.

I guess that I'll stick it out and wait longer. I thought for sure that they were some male preflowers poking their heads out....

I think what you are seeing is vegetative growth (branching) not preflowers. I usually go by the very top of the plant.look at it from above, male will grow balls on top female will just be leaf and white hairs

Thanks, evol!

I'll wait another week or so and consult your opinions again. I only have room (and enough "light footprint" for one plant), so if this turns out to be male, I'll have to start over again which would be a huge bummer. If it does turn out to be female, I'll start an official grow journal...I'll need the help!
