I'm 18 days into this Short Stuff Onyx Auto (regular). Is it beginning to show its sex or am I just being an impatient father? It did go through a lot of high stress factors through transplanting, hi/lo temps and low humidity and its growing under CFLs in crap time released nutes potting soil.

I am hoping for a girl, that I would try to partially transgender to get pollen for future breeding and still get some smoke out of it. Otherwise, I'll settle for the pollen. :(

I can't quite tell for sure, but that looks like a male to me. :D Can you get a pic of the top and a closer pic of that second node under the top? That looks like the start of pollen sacs.

think i can see female hairs on the middle node in the first pic
and possibly nanners

Definitely a male plant as Squid said.. second picture shows it best.

Will try to get better pics today. I am leaning more towards it being a male. The last picture looks like 'he' be erect!

This is the best shot I can get. Gonna start looking for a new camera with macro capabilities!

Just an updated picture. There is no doubt at this time.

He's 23 days above ground, about 7 inches tall and 6 inches diameter, getting only distilled water in 7-4-3 time released potting soil and 20/4 light.

How much longer do you think before he starts spreading his love?
