thanks for the info.. but the day I posted this I was also googling. and I read that i could use the tape method. i didn't have any tape on hand so i put a twist tie to hold it back up like it was, made sure to not make it to tight. but now i look at that branch, and its not all the way gone, but you can clearly see it is dying. o well lost a branch on my first grow, live and learn..
i have a few question and comments i'd like to say about this grow.. it is a speedy Gonzales like i said before, it sprouted around the end of last month and up until a few days ago couldn't see any signs of sex or it starting to flower, i am using lots of CFL's and have good vents and all the light cycle was set on 18/6 about 5 days ago i was concerned that it hadn't even began to show signs of flowering so i switched it to 12/12 lighting and changed to color to 2700k and now there are tiny buds coming up on every branch... SO PRETTY!!!
i switched to a smaller box when i changed the light cycle because i seen how short it was actually going to be since i was doing LST for a while to keep it short. now the lights are much closer like 3 inches or so and 4 bulbs rather than 6 to 8 inches with 6 to 8 bulbs, and heat began to be an issue, (all i had to do was turn up the fans and alter the venting system a bit.. no big deal).. but i talked the heat problem less than 12 hours after i realized it, but i have recently started to noticed most of my fan leaves getting white spots. more of a really really light light yellowing. I've kept a regular regiment of organic pesticide and never had a problem with bugs at all, or had the problem with spots like this either..
could these spots be a result of something wrong with light set up? is it a sign that its to hot?
and whats up with me having to switch the light cycle? it had been almost 45 days or so and i figured an autoflower would have at least started to show sex or something. can anyone help with their thoughts on that as well?
thank you
