and imo the icing on the cake there is if ya ask to feed it through the other side...ask also for a few of them wall tacks they use so he'll also think you kinda know what your doing a bit so if he does have an issue with it that too will put him at ease.helped me LOL!good luck man..

If all they are doing is replacing the cable, you could have him put the connector on the cable before he pushes it through the wall. You handle the disconnect and connect on the inside of the house. He runs the cable and does his thing on the outside but never comes in your room.

You could tell him your dog has ebola or something. Course the CDC would show up in about 10 seconds.

lol thanks guys i just realized the only thing about that is the lil metal piece that goes on the end of the cord is too big to go through the wall. (he can feed me the cord through the wall from outside but he would have to come in to put on the end that screws into the cable box) if the hole in my wall was big enough for the cord and the screw in piece i could probably keep him out no problem lol

also what my mom suggested is that we get him to replace the cord that goes to my sisters room which is next to mine then we just buy a spliter then have 2 cords going from that one so that way i can run a cord to my room and he doesnt have to go in there idk if that would even work though haha :dunno:

well i made it lmao he went in there and i just had family guy blasting since i kept my fans on...he was only in there like 5 min and i was just over his shoulder asking him how you do this and that with the cords tryna keep him distracted haha

also i had those triangle metal hangers on a nightstand like shown above and when he moved it they both fell right on his lap...he just handed them to me i dont think he thought anything lol they could be used for anything so i think im straight
