I'm getting confused and it's a lot easier to ask than to scower through endless posts looking for the answer . I grow in potting soil and have been using a all purpose fertilizer ( 20 x 20 x20 ) with some success but I have been reading about organic nutrients ( hence the confusion ) and am wondering if you use them and what you would recommend. I have 3 autos in a 2 x 2 tent and they appear to be doing well but I would of course like to give them their best shot to do their thing . Thanks .

Hey WELCOME Mr Bear,

I followed this guide by Tang and everything worked out pretty good on my soil grow :)

Hello 1939Bear,

I am not so sure if it is easier, or maybe you just need to get more familiar witht the site and how to navigate it.

Either or, we can assist. Not many people here will endorse the use of "Miracle Grow" or "Osmacote" type soils with Inorganic nutrients. Or Fertilizers that are the same.

There is not much call for a cannabis plant to use 20-20-20 nutrients makeup.

In the Vegetative stage, the cannabis plant needs more Nitrogen than the Phosphorus or the Potassium.

In Flowering stage, it will need more Phosphorus and then a bit more Potassium than it will Nitrogen.

So you see, at no time in a cannabis plants life does it use the nutrients equally like your fertilizer is.

What you need, is to go start to finish with "organics in mind". It isnn't the easiest thing to do, but is not too difficult either. And once you get it down, you will always know how.

Let me know if this is the kind of thing you had in mind.

Other's will use other nutrients and soil, but most will start with a good soil.

Bye for now

Right you are Eakman Thanks True

Eek says it all just like building a house you can put a million dollar house on no foundation and now you have no base to build off of.

Organics are great and fun.

Look into mixing a medium up or if your looking for just new nutes check out General Organics G.O box great line of nutes and really gets the job done iv had this box about a year n half now and will be ordering more.

Ronin uses the Go box with Excellent results as well and a few others on here i know use it and wouldnt complain about it other then the smell of BioMarine when you d pill the entire bottle on carpet haha
