New Grower Its my first grow and about HARVEST TIME!!!! Let me know what you think???

The pH definetely has a huge factor when dealing with the plants. Didn't think about it as much but using the smaller pots I did notice a possible built up in salts and sugars when the pH changed. I was only using the cheap test strips from walmart so the pH could have always been a little off. Just used plain tap water (tend to have hard water around here).

By the way does anyone know if the leaves will change color on the plants I haven't harvested. I did trim most of the major fans leaves so im not sure if it would make a difference??

Can anyone tell me what you think about time left on the buds and also what is a good way to know when the peak of harvest is???

Amazing grow and even more amazing is that it's your first ... your plants all look great ... if they were stunted a little perhaps it was from heat ... My grow space is generally about 85-88F w/ the lights on and I think that slows my plants growth ... CFLs can be HOT ! I'd say your harvest window is open and will be for the next couple of weeks ... I have a tough time seeing Trichomes so I judge by the color of the pistils ... when they are almost all amber I harvest the mature buds first ...

Looking @ the trichs is a good way, but you can also tell when harvest time is when the leaves are yellowing ( fan leaves and bud leaves). Depending on what type of meds you are looking for, if your looking for the couchlock meds wait til most of the triches are amber, if you want more of the head high you wanna chop when most of the triches are cloudy with maybe a few clear ones.:smokebuds:.
