Glad you got it figured out. If it gets too hot in the room and you are still having issues, just vent the fan into the attic. The hot will go out of the roof, and your air conditioning will keep the room and the intake air where it needs to be. Happy Growing!

Way to go, Auto! You're getting very sound advice. With that fresh air movement, you should see a big improvement.
If the hps starts getting too hot (NLs can get BIG), T5 fluorescents can run much cooler.
Remember too, with the increased air flow you may dry out a bit faster. Keep an eye on your RH while things settle down.

Ok, so a few hours of running the carbon filter system correctly and it's working like a charm! Temp is holding steady @ 77 and RH is 47% and no odor I watered and fed them today and they look really happy now.
