JADAM microorganism soluion. Made
by culturing microorganisms from leaf mold
in water, feeding them potatoes (or other
medium). It is a powerful soil quality im￾prover and can also be used for keeping
pathogens in check.

How to make JMS 500 liters (132 gal)
Starter: Leaf mold 0.5 kg (1.1 lb)
Medium: Boiled potato 1 kg (2.2 lb) + sea salt 0.5 kg (1.1 lb)
You will need: Plastic container with lid, 2 socks or cotton bags, 2
rocks, stick, string (For heated cultivation you need heater and
insulation)
- To further diversify microorganisms, blend 1 kg of crop leaves and
fruits, wild grass from the surroundings; add them in the solution as
medium.
- If you increase or decrease the volume (500 L, 132 gal), adjust the
starter and medium accordingly.
- The amount of starter and medium need not be strict. You can in￾crease potatoes.
- 500 L (132 gal) of JMS can be diluted with water and be used for an
area from 0.1 to 3.3 ha (0.25-8.2 ac).
- You must filter the liquid through a fine net before applying on soil or
plants.
- In cold periods where water cools below 18 ℃ (64.4℉), use heaters.
- It takes 24 hours when the daytime temperature is 28℃ (82.4℉); 72
hours at 25℃ (77℉); 96 hours at 19℃ (66.2℉).

I'm using this for my orchard and now for my grow. It's a cheep way to make your own inputs and at least you know what's in there. It's a learning process but it seems with reasonable use it is hard to over due this stuff.

That's as much of the book I'm going to rob. I just want to turn you on to JADAM method of farming there is more you can search on the web, look under Korean natural farming it s fascinating and cheep and easy.

Wild grass JADAM liquid ferilizer
Wild grass contains 1.5 to 2.5% nitrogen
(N) for its dried weight. Grass collected in
spring has a higher nitrogen content. Fill the
container with wild grass, ill up with water,
add a handful of leaf mold and close lid.
Crops are plants. Use plants as feed. You can
add crop residues

Dilution 20~300 times
When to apply Throughout growth
How to apply Soil,foliar application
What to eapect Balanced growth
How long to make More then 10 days

Great post! Wish I had some leaf mold! I may try to start some this winter, if I get a chance to collect some leaves.

I’m fascinated by the KNF stuff. I’ve been trying to make some L.A.B./EM1 but haven’t gotten it right. The milk hasn’t separated correctly for me. Have you tried it? I’m going to start a new rice wash today and give it a 3rd try.

I've made LAB a few times. I believe ambient temperature is a big part of growing these microorganisms. I haven't tried KNF during the winter where I live because it is too cold. If it is warm enough where you live it should work well. If you run in to the same problem I would suggest leaving the milk a bit longer this time.

Well that settles it I just returned from the grow store and stuff there is wayyy to pricey for me, so it cements my decision to grow with knf or jadam methods. I bought the jadam book so there is no reason not to, I had been experimenting with it up to now but will jump in with both feet. I just go my ACMPR renewed and now can grow 30 plants plus the 4 recreational, yiks I'll be bussy.
I'm going to grow with coir I'm thinking of charging it with a healthy serving of my worm castings. I may use bat guano, blood meal, fish bone meal, I have a bag of alphalpa pellets, Epsom salt and molasses. Ect. I have a bucket with frozen jadam liquid fertaliser. I'm going to buy a few tilapia and start a batch of fish liquid fertiliser, it takes 6 months to ferment so by the time I need it will be 4/5 months old, can't wait to smell it. I'm thinking of using a kind of Dutch bucket or hempy bucket hybrid. With this many plants Semi auto watering would be nice.

And yes I did make labs it's interesting stuff. I gather up my dogs poop it was sitting in a bucket with rain water in it I put in a few oz labs and no more fly s and no more stink.

And just a note about labs it is good for powdery mildew. A friend s grow and he was losing plants to mildew I told him about labs and gave him some of mine, it's seemed to solve the problem.
Late this summer I had bud rot a bit hear and there, and there, and there. I sprayed labs lightly in the air. No direct soaking on the buds, can't say if it helped but I'm sure didn't harm And next grow will be a weekly ritual to spray plants in vedge . I made an electric foliage sprayer. I took a plastic bottle plant sprayer 2 l size I drilled a hole near the bottom and screwed in the electric spray unit from a windshield washer, attached a 1/4 in hose put a spray nossel on and now I can easily foliage spray my whole crop with labs or jlf.
