Indoor Jamezito's first grow! DP's Auto Ultimate & Dinafems Kush n Cheese

Hey guys! I germinated my seeds today, the method im going to try is to drop them in a glass of water overnight and plant them in a soil block until they sprout, then they will go under 2 x 25W propagation lights and fingers crossed they will take off!

I had some seeds from some bud i picked up and i decided to try to germ them, I put one in a glass for 24 hours and another 2 into a paper towel. As of today there isn't much going on with them so i planted them and I'll wait to see what happens

I have the room at about 25 degrees Celsius atm.

These are the seeds i picked out of some bud i had before. Strains were G13 & Critical Mass, there wasnt much going on with them after 24 hrs so i planted them. I pushed them down a little more and covered them with soil.

I'm going for 2 AU's & 1 Kush n Cheese for now.


The kit is shipped and on it's way from UK so it should be here in plenty of time, it consists of:

Grow tent 120 x 120 x 200 cm

600W hps lamp and refletor

3 x 15 liter airpots


6'' Inline fan

Ph reader

Pulleys

therm & humidity reader

I still have some other stuff to get also...

I'm going to use plagron allmix for the soil

For now the ''Good seeds'' are still floating in a cup and the other ones are in the soil cubes

Tomorrow they will be planted regardless of sprouting and it will probably be a few days of Hail Marys til they pop up. Once that happens theyre going straight under my prop lights



Lads feel totally free to comment, I'd love to have ye all on board for this epic occasion! Ive been waiting for this for years Every bit of advise is listened to and often heeded (thanks Grim Reefer & Happy Horticulturist) I'll update again when i've news.

Just a quick update..... When I checked the seeds this morning one of them had dropped and none really had any change. I put the soil cube in a little water for 10 minutes and pushed a pencil onto the little hole to give a little more space. yesterday i used a torq screwdriver and it was a bit tight. I placed the seed pointed end up. I have read a lot of conflicting info about this but i read an article last night that made sense, apparently the root reaches for the top of the soil then does a u turn and goes directly downward. Anyway, we'll see how it turns out. Then i lightly covered them and patted them a little.

The way they are now is under the propagation lights, moist soil and the floor of the box is completely dry to eliminate any molds or fungus, i have the top off as well. Here is a pic of all 6 seeds sowed now.

Good luck brother. If you ever have any urgent problems there's a 24/7 help line thread on the site, also I'm sure you can PM me and probably a few others and ask them to swing by your thread urgently. I'll be swinging by whenever I'm online which is a couple of times a week.

For now just leave those little guys alone until they've got roots coming out of the cubes then transplant them into some plagron lightmix if you can get it. Only lightly moisten the cubes if they get dry, other than that leave them be. Once you transplant them into plagron lightmix you only need to give them tap water for the first 10 days (maybe some tap water mixed with root stimulator, but that's it.) So that should do you for the next week and a half to two weeks! See you in a fortnight! lol kidding I'll probably see you before then.

Day 4 Update.

The Hail Marys must have worked because there is activity in all the seeds! The first 3 have taken off and the Auto Ultimate's and Kush and Cheese aren't far behind I've added the remainder of the seeds in a glass of warm water and they will be sowed tomorrow. I've taken some very cool close up HD shots of the germination For now I've soaking the cubes in a cm of bottled water for a few seconds until i see the top of the cube moistened. I have the propagation lights on 18/6 and i think ill stay with that cycle until harvest. What do ye think?

I have a question about the first 3 seeds i planted. I found them in some bud i had before. What should i do with them? I have no idea if they're any good! They're not AF so growing them could mess up my light cycle. As always lads any help is appreciated! Thanks guys!

They are looking very healthy and the 18/6 light cycle will do just fine, I like to do 20-4 for veg and 18-6 for flower. To answer your question the bag seed well it all depends, could be a good seed and might not be either, It depends on a few things. You could try germinate them, and if they sprout and then if they are female, then you would have to veg them for as long as the autos take to finish (10-12 weeks usually).
If you are going to try the seeds out to see if they are good and then see if they are female or male, your best bet is to wait till you almost finished your auto grow ( 2-4 weeks remaining roughly) and then go ahead with them. Other wise it will be very crowded in your tent with a lot of plants at different stages, it gets a bit messy.
