Ohh I get it now lol you quick dry then smoke it :slaps: You know what I used to do to quick dry.. I'd wrap a bud in a paperbag then put it on my celing fans CFL lightbulb and in 20 mins its dehydrated, I hate the taste of immature/wet bud though.. always makes me wanna throw uo for some reason lol.

Scarified the seed, then dropped it into a glass of distilled water. The first time around, the bean had a tap root showing about 36 hours later. This time, it's definitely moving slower. I checked last night, and I can see the shell starting to split, so I'm hoping tonight or tomorrow. After the root pops, I'll throw it in a wet paper towel for a day or so to let the root lengthen a bit

Damn, I keep reading bout people's beans taking 3-4 days or more, all the beans that have sprouted for me were within two days max,never any more. I don't know why, trust, but I put them in a wet paper towel and stick that in a ziploc bag then set it on top of my laptop, the only bean that didn't for me was that thc bomb, was real curious bout that but guess it happened for a reason, I barely have room for the 6 I'm growin now.

The little heat form my laptop kinda works in the same way, kinda like those germ pads, a lot of people here suggest just gently scratching the surface of the seed with fine sandpaper, I'm assuming it helps the seeds absorb more moisture through it's shell.

I put it on top of the kitchen cabinet, which is pretty warm, but if that little shit isn't done doing it's business by the time I get home, gonna move to the paper towel method that free suggested n put it on the cable box or something

Scarfication helps break the seed coat and allow water to penetrate seeds casing.You can also gently scrape the seed seam with a scalpel blade, be careful though as seed being held between finger and thumb or even in tweezers can just ping off somewhere as i learned to my own cost.

Scarification can be easily done by lining a match bow or similar sized container with sand paper and shaking the seeds inside so they get scratched.

Careful with soaking seeds 12 hours is good 24 is max for me as it is possible to drown seeds, also learned from personal experience.

Cable/digital boxes are good sources of gentle heat for seed germination .

I don't own a TV so don't have a box and lack quite a lot of modern gadgets which might produce that type of warmth and what with my old boiler needing replacing (now got instant boiler) all my nice ambient heat sources dissapeard.

I now use a heated propagator tray with a rootit digital thermostat set to 24C.

I do 12 hours in water the transfer to rootit sponges in propagator near 100% success rates.

Thats pretty cool.. I have had 2 seeds sprout and then die after being planted. Both times were because I didn't use a humidity dome over em. So now I prewater in the center, plant, add a layer of water, and put a cup over it.

That's no good, I don't use anything to help and have been lucky I guess I've never had an issue like that. Maybe cause where I'm at has so much humidity already or what. I usually just soak the soil one time, wait a couple hours/half day and poke a hole (not deep at all, maybe 1/8-1/4) and place seed in tap root down and almost if not visible at the top, kinda pressing it in with everything around and I don't have to touch em for at least a week. But then again I have plenty of other issues..
