That's no good, I don't use anything to help and have been lucky I guess I've never had an issue like that. Maybe cause where I'm at has so much humidity already or what. I usually just soak the soil one time, wait a couple hours/half day and poke a hole (not deep at all, maybe 1/8-1/4) and place seed in tap root down and almost if not visible at the top, kinda pressing it in with everything around and I don't have to touch em for at least a week. But then again I have plenty of other issues..

I have high humidity too but that was back when I had a 600w HID and I was a complete noob lol still am. Hey bro cant see the pic :/ edit: never mind i see it

Damn, I'm well past the 24 hour mark! D'oh! Hope all isn't lost.

Naw man still to early to tell and TD are usually good seed I wouldnt worry about it.

stick em in damp paper towels if they have cracked & you see first signs of root tip. I've seen em crack and thought, I'll wait till they are a few mm longer before putting them in damp paper towels and ended up with seeds that did nothing, on examination they were mushy on the inside.
Some unscarified seeds can have an almost bullet proof seed casing and if seed coat is intact they can take more soaking.
This is more likely with home produced seed as they generally have been maturing longer on the plant as we try to give them all our love.
Commercially produced seeds which are ripe generally aren't quite so tough as they are harvested at the optimal time for sale but sometime genetics will throw you a curved ball and is also dependant on the seed grower and when they harvest.

Sounds like you know your seed care, Arty. I first noticed a split yesterday morning, and I could barely make out the tap root running along the inside of the split.

Maybe some luck on my part but I tend to be a very unlucky person in general. I just got rid of my 600w hid setup, everything $100, then got the LEDs. I couldn't to the temps any longer, but then installed an a/c unit which would have been enough I guess but the electric bill was already high due to some home issues so I guess it was a good decision, although my humidity never went below 60% even during winter, sucks it's sittin at 81% right now, last night was 93%, not good, these times I miss the HIDs

Man that florida weather!! Lol and I thought we had it bad here.. Man with the HID I grew some monster colas bro but couldnt handle the temps either. Ended up moving and selling the whole kit and getting the ms6 after being out of it for a while. I miss em too lol

"AFN smoke out"

Fellas good news on these bubblegums.. what i've harvested so far is smoking right!! i think I picked them at a good time, she's got 20% clear, 70% cloudy, 10% amber trikes  She's been drying for 3-4 days now in the paper bags and sampled a fluffier bud.. First impressions are that she's an indica.. some put you to sleep bud really happy with her!! The smoke is tasty already and shot straight to the dome and now I'm drowsy lol Dread you're gonna love her man!! :smoke:

Smell and taste is already nice and with a couple weeks I think its gonna be like candy, maybe it'll even get the actual bubblegum traits. Check out this pic guys I'm the happiest guy in the world right now thanks yall for helping me raise them!!
"AFN smoke out""AFN smoke out"

The bottom half is almost there but it's random the side branches were way less developed, even the ones that got good light. I think it was the early stress when she was a seedling that caused it cuz the Critical+ is almost ready and she's not even at 60 days.
