Do you think the fact that it will be 151 proof instead of 190 proof will make a major difference?

I have used the 151 version on everclear its not as good as the 190 its harder to get a shatter consistency IMO with 151.

Also counter in the fact that if your just using a dish sitting out with no heat that 151 has 24.5% water content and other so if your not using heat id may want to use some. water and Alchols boiling points are pretty far apart, as at room temp with alchol it will evap on its own and water will to but 6-8x longer then the booze.

Id toss your dish onto a electrical griddle and set it to 150 for like 3-4 hours at least i normally do mine on the griddle for about 5-8 hours till i can scrape and put into the vac. where itll go for another 24-36 hours during all this i use heat.

You can pick up a cermanic tile or play sand to buffer the heat on ur griddle to your pyrex or dish w/e your using.
i use one tile on my griddle set at 150 and have a stable 108

I noticed, when doing QWISO runs, that the 91% I used always gave me a concentrate that looked like raw sugar. But, same canna-material with 99%, I'd get brittle/shatter, too. And, that "milk" must be the h2o pooling, with trichy scum a floating on it... lol

Heres a little bit of info I'd like to share.

Polmos Spirytus Rektyfikowany 192 Proof

That's right 192 proof :D

Pure grain alcohol can be bought in the states and can be ordered by mail from here http://www.westchesterwine.com/sku00911.html

Spirytus is made in Poland and is available in Europe , where Ever Clear isn't (or at least I haven't managed to source any)

Grain alcohol can only reach 95-96% Alcohol even if distilled to 100% it then reacts with atmospheric moisture and stablilizes to 95-96%.

Grain alcohol is also good for winterizing bho to extract waxes and lipids to make absolute shatter & absolute wax (funny is called wax when winterizing removes the wax and lipids)

here is a nice link to a site I like they have some great info - http://skunkpharmresearch.com/getting-the-green-and-waxes-out-afterwards/ this page is about polishing extracts and includes winterizing, but the site also has awesome info on all sorts of extractions and other cool things.

Outstanding link, arty! There goes my record money.... lolol

And, I'm diametrically opposed to the removal of wax... lolol

Everclear is good i use that and i have used 91% ISO both work good.
The milk you are seeing is a good sign do you have a fan or any heat on it?
I normaly pour my QWISO into a pyrex and place on the griddle set to 150. Im no expert with qwiso as i reguarly run bho but make qwiso every now and then i did a 5g run yesterday of nugs with 91% and pulled 1.1g return.
IF you can man take a pic id love to help you out brotha or shot me a pm either way

The milk is what you want to see youl have some wax my friend
GOT MILK??!!

Thanks for clarifying that bro. No I'm not using any heat or a fan to evap. just left the dishes outside in the heat which is like 90° ill post a pic up in a little bit.

oh I like it waximus, took me second to get it lmao

Just as well it doesn't remove mp3's as well, I'd be up ship creek without a poodle.

I am diametrically opposed to buying Alcohol in place of vinyl just for the records. lol
