JAYAR, noticed the same browning on my SC; gonna give her a little extra CalMag and see how she responds. Have you noticed any change?

If the added Cal doesn't do it, it may be a phosphorus deficiency that we are dealing with.

The two leaves affected are dying bro it seem to be spreading. BUT she is growing pretty nicely anyway so idk lol my other SC is fine but still smaller than the affected one. Will post sum pics in a few mins.

dude hope your plants are doing better just out of curiosity have you tested the ph of your feed i checked mine when i was getting nute lockout and for some reason it was ph 5.2 i added ph up and checked it every hour and it stayed at 5.9 and thats using ph perfect by advanced nutrients still dont know what went on may be some thing worth checking

Naw man don't have a working ph meter.. my old oakton is busted that's why I switched to these nutes. Gonna pick up a cheap yellow one and see what it says. What kind of water are u using? I use tap

The pH perfect Sensi grow and bloom for coco should have enough Calcium and Magnesium for your plants. However you CAN add sensi cal mag xtra to the mix without harming your plants or the pH.


How often are you feeding your plants? Also what brand of coco are you using?

I start by hand watering till established then I drip up to 6 times a day.


I am using botanicare coco in 1 gallon smart pots.

Once I start the multi-feeding I like to keep the EC at 1.3/650ppm (that's including 0.4EC tap water), I let the run-off tell me if the plants require more or less feed. (stole this from Truu's guide had a hard time finding yours) Hope @Truu dosn't mind.
Of course I didn't know what to say since I never grew in Coco Yet!


He hasn't responded back in a while. I'm guessing he went home for the day. I'll post on here when he responds.

i use tap water dude ph of 7.2 and the ppm is so low it doesn't show up on my blue lab truncheon the lowest on that is 100 ppm (tds)or 0.2 ec i am thinking it might be to do with the temp of the water when i get 5 mins will have to look into it

That's pretty clean water bro! Over here I have 0.57EC and 8.5ph lol but the nuts worked pretty good last time... I know we supposed to use RO water+CalMag with advanced nutes.

Does your meter have ATC (automatic temperature compensation) EC level chanhes according to the temp of the water.
