Hey y'all...soo I'm back with another vape review and this time I'm gonna touch on the Pinnacle Pro DLX!
Now to start I gottta be honest and say that my feelings on this unit are very mixed...the reason why I will try my best to lay out for ya...
I will start with the unit make up first.....the unit itself is very sleek and compact which makes it very stealth..the flat black also adds to the stealth as it is not flashy in your hand and attracts very little attention...it is very light weight in comparison with many of it competitors.. ei..solo or the haze but thats due to the fact that it is made completely of plastic. This in it self is the cause of major issues with the unit!
I didnt even have the unit a week and it started showing signs of heat cracks and stress where the mouth piece snaps on!! When I emailed them about this they 1st told me that it was not covered by warranty!! I then sent them another email to contest this fact but received no reply! About a week later the whole unit just stopped working all together..the lights would flash to indicate it was heating up amd would stop to indicate it reached its set temp but it was not even warm. I then sent Vapor Blunt another email this time from another email address and received reply and told to send it back for warr! Soo I did and weeks went by with zero communication from them and no return of my item or even tracking info. I then sent several un answered emails inquiring about my unit that I barley had a week or two! This was truly frustrating as I felt powerless and was unsure that I would ever see my expensive unit again! Finally I got a response with a tracking #! It took almost 3 weeks to get here as it was stopped at customs and held for some reason. When it did arrive it was broken! Sounded like a baby rattle! Soo I contacted Vapor Blunt yet again and they said to send it back again!!! Now I'm really ticked and fed up! But again I put the $ out of pocket to ship it back for the 2nd time and again I don't get any communication from them about the status of my unit! Again several emails go unanswered until one day I happened to google search them and their cust service reviews only to find that lots of people were going through the same thing! I made a post of my own and someone responded with an email for dave@Vaporblunt.com!
I was told he would take care of me..soo I sent him an email and what do you know he got back to me right away and sent me out a unit to replace it the next day! He also sent me out several replacement glass lined pong attachments that are supposed to prevent the heat cracks but don't! Lol soo needless to say that I'm giving the cust service at Vapor Blunt a big FAIL!
Now for the unit performance..... I personally love the drags from this unit...good draw flow and and several heat temps to pick from....the vape itself can be a bit warm but I personally don't mind it but ive had friends not like it. As far as using it for concentrates I did try it and to be honest it sucked! The unit just doesnt get hot enough it seems to vape it! This bring me to the water tool....it is a kool concept it just really didnt work well with the unit...I found that your bullet load of herb would be done in a few tokes with little effect but on the flip side it worked great on the solo! Lol the stealth of the unit is the big sell for me. The batt life is not the best as well but it does the trick for about 2 sessions..maybe 3.
Soo in closing id like to recommend this unit based on function but as it breaks soo easy I really can't and I def can't sell ya on cust service either. But I do like the performance of the unit when its working 100 percent as well as the stealth!
Soo id like to leave you all with one final thing..although these units are very pricey they are a far healthier alternative to smoking and as far as I'm concerned you can't put a price on life... soo shape up and vape up!
