Mephisto Genetics Jumper's 2020 Grow

Lol... yeah it is one pot (airpot) and one plant. An absolute beast. My poor tent is only 1.2w x 0.6d a 1.8h metres in dimension! She has grown above the light and is easily a metre wide. She has been super cropped 4 times.

This Toof Decay did no start flowering to day 50 (95 days since sprout) - and as a result, I have this monster!!!!

She is on the Buddha's Tree range at about 0.7EC @ 6.0 pH.

She is under 265W of QB at 3500k and 40W of Deep Red at 6600nm.

She is automatically fed once per hour for 5 seconds. The reservoirs are heated and aerated. The medium is coco / perlite.
Nice work! I am a very experience Cocongrower and firmly believe in the same method you use for pot size and watering frequency...especially with Autos. Coco can grow massive plants in very little medium....if you keep it well hydrated. I also prefer top feeding vs Bottom Wicking for coco. I feel like Bottom fed Coco plants go longer and can build up nutes. Top watering multiple times per day keeps the medium less built up and plants grow faster IMO. Supercropping or Topping Autos can cause a delay in flowering for surely. Some more than others and some dont skip a beat. That is the downside to Autos. Each plant can grow differently and respond differently to stress. Different phenos and the inability to keep clones an create a wide variety of plants. Especially if F1 seeds, with no refinement.

The very first purchase from Mephisto I mesaged Mitch beforehand to pick his brain on which strains could be ran SOG style or didnt get that large. He suggested Sour Crack, 24 Carat, and Toof decay. 24 Carat and Sour Crack stay small. Toof Decay had a couple smaller ones, but a vast majority were medium to large plants. That is why Sour Crack is my all time favorite Mephisto strain. It is predictable on harvest time and I know how large they get. There is only a couple phenos, and 1 is a little more open and taller. But I just got these BRAND NEW F8 Sour Crack testers and they will be planted later today! They are soaking in a cup of water in my heated tote and both have cracked open. Just giving them til this evening to get a longet tail. However, I am running these in 100% Organic Kis soil in a 4 gal home made SIP. But when I run Coco, I use 1/2 gal to 1 gal pots and Green Planet nutez. Peace, slow

slowandeasy thank you so much for the time to reply. I follow your grows religiously!

I totally agree. Sour Crack, I rotate almost every cycle. I have F7 and F8 and simply adore the strain. They cannot stand any training in my experience. I have grown 10 to date now. I normally yield 3-4 zips and they grow pretty large now!

I have had Xmas Tree and Table Top Mountain phenos on the main. One did a GWK and the others more a Fugue State style branching.

Toof Decay, unlike Sour Crack and 24C I simply cannot get to perform to stats! 90 days is the norm. I admit, I do top her unlike the others.

I only just tried 24C and I really like her once propely cured. You really see where Sour Livers comes from.

Swapping to a one hour feed cycle is showing massive differences in yield. I think this is optimum for top feeding with my setup.

I will do a 2hr Sour Crack vs 1hr Sour Crack comparison shortly using F8.

One think I note, use RO, is I do not get above EC 0,7!

Man, I wish Toof Decay, day 105, would hurry up. I need the space as she is impacting 4AM and Orange Bud!

4AM, now passed the lights :-(

Orange Bud. Little runty, not surprisingly :-(

Sour Crack up with the veg. Hand water for now.

That Toof decay looks done man, it is only going to go downhill in tadte and smells at this point IMO. 105 days is a long time man. Sometimes trichs dont change like you want them to. You are taking a risk of bud rot at this point. Especially on a strain like Toof Decay. Check all buds for bud rot before jarring, sometimes burnt leaves on buds are a sign of bud rot. I know you are close to the light, but keep a close eye inside dense sticky buds that go 100+ days . Good luck, slow

Thanks for your reply. I have just chopped her.

Frankly ridiculous for a 3lt pot!

I got lucky and there was no bud rot on close inspection! I do run humidity at 35% and have a lot of fans.

Few pics :-

That was one hell of a plant. Great job.

Cheers bro. I really like this strain, so will be patient and let her dry and cure properly! No cheeky testers! .... We all know where that ends! :)

Whether I will take an auto forwards if she aint flowering by day 40 is debatable! Too much stress for my poor growing space!

Nice haul! I prefer small pots for my Coco plants. It is amazing how big plants can get in such small pots . Glad you decided to chop her and your humidity was low. You dont want to lose anything to bud rot. Big dense frosty buds that go long times are just physically more at risk. Nice work brother, enjoy trimming and testing it! Now your other plannts have more space . Ejoy, slow

4AM, heavy and falling over!!! Soon to chop. Hers buds are larger than coke cans.

Fugue State in a 2l Pespi bottle.
