Just Genetics or Grower Error?

... Hey Trail buddy! :pass: ..not a strain I'm betting,.. only thing close to this is DP's Frisian Duck! This single leaf thing I've also seen on plants that have been forced to reveg'... you get all kinds of freaky stuff with that on occasion,..!

Good eye there is a reveg one gen back.

Jesus would i love to have that in my seed bank here. That would be tits to breed against...why cant i get something like this to just show up, all the love i give them and they never give me anything like that. Id give my left nut to have that trait.

 Med' .....speaking of which, 912GreenSkell grew a monster 'Duck this season, and in veg' it was unidentifiable as canna'! Amazing,... check it out, it's worthy!
Wouldn't lack of lighting cause this too in a way? I know that lower leaf that does not get proper light will not leaf progress like they should. You know 1,3,5,7 and so on.

Auto ultimate "stunty" was super tiny and patchy looking. She broke the soils surface with a yellowed cotyledon and was less than half the size of the other seedling of the same age(around day 14 in pic) so started a new seed(center). Stunty I planted in the test garden with only 8 hours of direct sun tapering down to 6. Some of the lower branches got less than 3 hours of sun by harvest. She was 43" tall by harvest and put out 112gras dry.
(stunty lower right in the white bucket...same age as the other 3 bigger autos in the other pots, AU maximus is the tiny seedling in the center)

@Waira mentioned the duck. Yes the leaves on mine looked like elongated maple leaves until mid flower and then they had a more traditional shape, but by then giant purple colas were forming and stealth was blown by then anyways. Fully detailed reviews on both trains in the DP section review category.

Quick update. She really took off around day 25 and seems uneffected by her "patchy" start. After some LST, all new growth looks completely healthy and 'normal'. I'm now convinced it was just some genetic variegation (sp?) that she grew out of. Here is a recent, day 40ish, pic of her. Thank you all for the help. AFNer 4 life.
