If I wanted to give 18 hours of LED light and then place the container in the windowsill for the other 6 hours, would that present a problem?

I thought that might be the case. Thanks. I'm also wondering about how autos will hold up when there are slight variations in light. For example, starting off seedlings in a nursery and then moving them to their final area which is in an entirely different location. Nothing to worry about if they receive interruptions from their spot under the LED? Flipping the lights on for a few minutes during dark period every once in awhile is no issue? Sorry for the barrage of questions and thanks for any help.

I'll also add that the hottest part of the day in each location happens at a different time. That being the case, if the light cycle went from off at 12 noon to 6pm to 10 to 4 would that be an issue?

I've done it when I first started growing autos in 2015 with Red Poison, Amnesia Haze and several other strains. I was actually growing about 6 or 7 different strains at the time and I would bring them in at night, or during bad weather and place them under a 135 watt MarsHydro light. The problem that arose was that the trichs wouldn't cloud up and it was like that for all the strains. I thought it might have had something to do with the lighting, since I was growing so many different strains all having the same problem. After that, I went to growing indoors exclusively. Just something to keep an eye on!

Much easier to grow and train than indeterminate tomatoes in my never to be humble opinion.
