Hi Folks,

Im on the 2 week count down til harvest.
Ive never done the brown bag thing before.

I have read the posts and stickies on here but....

To be sure, like 100% sure!
1. Trim up lovely bud
2. Place lovely buds in brown paper bag, not to many not to few
3. Fold down or roll down paper bag and keep closed with a clothes line peg
4. Place lovely bags of lovely bud in a cardboard box
5. Place box some place dark, dry and good air flow.
6. A lovely week later check on your lovely lovely meds
7. Pop some more seeds and crack on with another grow!

Is that about right?
Can it be that simple?
Please put an arm round me, say its all going to be alright... Your lovely buds are going to be just fine in the paper bags.

Have I missed anything?

Right then. Thank you.
Thats that sorted... Best get me scissors all sharp

3 questions from a noob!
I didn't realize you could go straight to brown bag without hanging for at least 3 days first, does it dry well?
Shouldn't you be opening/venting the bags every couple of hours for at least the first week after harvest
Surely it would be way too crispy dry if you leave it to cure too long in cardboard after drying instead of moving it to mason jars or plastic bags at push?

Look into ordering some Boveda packs.. throw one in the jar and it keeps the RH at a perfect 62% I just recently started using them and love the results! They are like $12 for a 12 pack with free shipping

Here

What page of that thread link is the "straight to paper bag" method on?

My friend read this thread for the Brown Paper Bag method.
I dont know about the other methods mentioned :)
Best of luck.

Cheers!
Last harvest I hung for 3 days before using the brown bag with layers of shredded brown paper method http://forum.grasscity.com/harvesti...ana/424138-simple-harvest-cure-step-step.html which worked a treat and really kept the flavour in.

It was just the OP was going straight to brown bag and not venting so I wasn't sure how to do that without getting rot!
