Many thanks for the encouraging words!!! 8 more weeks to make the best out of my first time (wish I'd had that long with my 'other' first time :twist: ) I will try to post daily, if I can. My first little lady is gonna be taking off like a shot for the next 2 weeks (according to Muddy's guide). She's 3 wks & 5 days old now. I am estimating harvest around the 2nd week of May.

My first girl's original true leaves are turning yellow. None of the other leaves are affected (used a magnifying glass to be sure). Anyone know why? I nute her every other watering with a very mild 1/4 tsp. MG 20-20-20, 1/4 tsp. molasses and 1/8 cup weak chamomile tea in a 2 liter of ph'd water. Other than this, she seems to be doing really well. The new girl is going friggin nuts!!! Both get watered every 4 days.

Don't worry to much about those first leaves,that is somewhat normal for them to yellow and die off.If they do continue up the plant let us know. And your watering on a schedule but you should learn to water when needed not on a schedule because this will change with the plant size,temps,and humidity.:smokebuds:

Ok, thanks for the reply, namvet. I also check with my finger 2-2 1/2" down to make sure they need water. Sorry, didn't tell ya that the first time. 1 more question, if y'all don't mind, is it normal for the temp to drop by 2-3 degrees after watering? Mine does, but only for about 3-4 hours, then comes back to 77 F.

If you water her with cold water, yes. I try to water with room temp water/

Thanks for the reply, I don't have a threat yet & was gonna wait a few weeks so ‘my 2’ have grown a bit however, I have a couple of pics of them for ya!

I'm using a 105w, 6400k CFL & using 17/7 schedule & have a 2nd 105w, 2700k CFL on order.

My 2 Biodiesel’s are picking up speed and developing well & I’m well pleased! (proud father syndrome, lol!)
As a newby grower I went a bit mad with the water but quickly sorted it out!


You have been getting some good advice from the others on this site and I am finding it usefull with my grow so thanks all you lot!
