Hey all! Long time no see!

I just started out doing 4 Think Different in 4 separate Buckets(Same as Seymours). How the hell do you get the temp in the water down to 71F/21C?

Im running in a tent with one 400m2 extractor fan and 600W HPS. I have tin foil over the lids. When i measured the temp im at 77F/25C in the water.

I just coverd all black surface with tin foil and hope it helps a bit.. But the rest, how do you do? I guess I will end up with root rot...

Will it help to add H2O2? I dont have time adding ice every hour or so..

Thanks guys in advance for tips!

2ltr bottle of frozen water also if you look in the diy section theres a good diy solution by komach:peace:sj

:thumbs:i have the pump outside the cab, with a cool air intake :peace:

I'm going to be doing dwc for the first time myself and have done a TON of reading on everything i could find for growing that way. I've read alot of guys wrap the buckets in reflectix insulation to keep the water cool longer and unless you buy a chiller you gotta ice the bucket. I've read 2 ways to do this#1 being freezing pop bottles and adding them to the res#2 being you put your bucket into a shallow tub filled with water and add the 2 liter frozen bottles to the tub which cools the bucket from the outside. I've already tested a bucket in my room with T5 lighting using frozen bottles added into the res and it works-i use 1 liter bottles for the test and had to add 1 bottle every 5 hours or the temp went to 70f+. i'm a little leery of doing that with roots hangin as i have to believe frozen bottles touching roots can't be good-everything i've read says it doesn't hurt them. I'll be trying the tub method as soon as i get room in the cab to do it.

Pump plenty of air into the buckets and you will be fine at those temps. At least 20 litres per minute per bucket, 30 if possible. Air pump outside the tent will help too!
