Indoor kfigerm tries his best

The bad news don't stop coming in. After coming home the last lady dried out as well. Will have to investigate what could have happened. No clue, but she was more dry than a plant hanging for 2 weeks. No signs when I left. Will post a pic soon, but I have to recover from the experience of the first view into the tent.

Cheers!:pass::pass::pass::pass:

So to wrap up the last mess here's the very last pic taken by a cam inside the tent two days later. As i told you i had to take some time to recover from that.

were you ever able to determine the cause?

@elcoloan I did too much different the last grow to really find the one thing that was the reason.
Roots were not properly developed and established this time on both. They showed overwatering symptoms and a then root rot. But if that was a cause or just a symtom is not clear to me. It happened fast. What could harm roots in a pyramid so fast like it was a complete water lockout. Didn't have such probs with the setup and the pyramids earlier. So no.
Perhaps i had some bacts in that were hungry - that may be also possible.

But I will be cautiuos with the next grow and go back to "normal" and give all a good cleaning for sure.

Better next time right? 🤗

I guess you'll have to disinfect everything.

Several grows ago something mysterious happened so before planting I even took the chassis off my lights, vacuumed the heatsinks, and wiped down all 5 cooling fans before putting it all together.

I had read someone here (who?) that had used Quats to wipe everything down so I did the same.
Seemed to work.

I run Ozone for 10 minutes inside the sealed tent before every grow and again before hanging to dry to prevent mould etc.

Yes, its a small unit designed to plug in a wall but I always use a cord.

This is the same unit. It was about $100 Canadian dollars, probably less if you're in the states.

Grow 3 2025 - day 4 - Barneys Farm Lemon Haze, Barneys Farm Pineapple Express and Fastbuds Apple Strudel New
So it's Monday and we start into the third grow this year.
I am a little late with this but I hoped to be able to show off some nice ladies from an autoflower.org buddy, but that was decided otherwise from authoroties.
So I go with what I have at hand and grow some "standard" stuff.
Hopefully it will play out nice this time - It kinda has to, stash is nearly empty.

So here are the three ladies that compete
- Barneys Farm Lemon Haze
- Barneys Farm Pineapple Express
- Fastbuds Apple Strudel

I call out day 4 for all. The Pineallpe Express still tries to brake it's cap, so actually isn't even at day 1 - but seed to Water for all was okt.6 so i count her in for day 4.

@The Iconoclast these are trays from restaurants supply. they are about 6cm high, but i raise the pyramids about 2cm with the clay pebbles.
Raising them and givong lots of root space guarantees for the big plants. I experienced that when the roots sit too long in the water they can be harmed. But that was in rainy weather outside and the pyramids were permanently wet. So be aware to have some space between the pyramids and the waterline of the runoff. A rule of thumb is the runoff should be soaked within 1-2h after watering.
Excess runs through a lightly (1,5cm) elevated drainhole and is collected in a container below. So if all goes ok I only have to drain once a week.
What are your plans?
