I wonder how Ruderalis behaves naturally.
Is it an annual plant ?
I gather it survives the harsh russian winters.
Does it do this as a seed ?
Does it go into a winter dormancy like other hardy over-wintering plants ?
Certainly, these are interesting questions.

Why does Ruderalis die in autumn/winter ?
(1) It is programmed to self-destruct immediately after flowering ?
(2) The cold weather kills it ?
(3) Other -- please specify.

Na, I will just read for now on, I don't want to cause any problems on this site. I came to this site, to receive and I know I really don't have any experience in growing. But sometime someone with little experience might have something of value to say. I came here because I was looking for people that I had something in common with and that we enjoyed growing, maybe pick up a few friends. Sorry if I offended anyone.
