Hey AFN i just wanted to introduce myself, i will start by saying that i really enjoy this forum and i have been a on and off member of this community for a while. Recently Diagnosed with Epilepsy i have found a new interest in medicinal cannabis containing CBD, i have not personally tried cannabis containing CBD's but as i write this now i have just received my package in the mail and i am more excited then ever to start growing my own medicine. I have grown cannabis for almost 4 years now consecutively indoors under Metal Halide and High pressure sodium bulbs, learning almost every day.. i strive to better my skills & Knowledge in horticulture. I do not grow much Auto flower Varieties maybe some here and there or while i grow my photo-period crops, i know that is quite contradicting considering that this is a Auto flowering forum but i have to admit i learned most of my cannabis growing know how right here on this site, and you the members are so kind and helpful and i can't seem to go anywhere else :smoking:

So i will throw some grow room photography up in a bit once i get some seedlings germinated but to start this season i will be growing some World of Seeds Afghan Kush, and CBD Crew's O.G Kush i don't remember the freebies that seedsman have sen't with the order but i will update my thread when i have the package in hand. I will probably start germinating all my seeds tonight so i can get on the wagon right away, in the meanwhile peace - Korin606 (2017-06-13) 5:42pm

Welcome to afn ,we really do have a kind vibe and the best growers ion the web I might be biased but as they say attitude is everything.

Now a couple days into veg, my young seedlings are starting off pretty good! i have some blueberries, white widow, OG.Kush CBD and my one and only afghan Kush. i was pretty upset that only 1 out of 7 afghan seeds actually germinated, but i guess one will have to do . I took some pretty bad photo's with my phone camera so i apologize for the quality, when i get some extra monies to spend i will purchase a new DLSR camera and get back into the cannabis photography & provide y'all with some quality photos.

so i am starting them out in 5 gallon pots using Pro-mix HP Myhcrozzia, amending the soil-less medium with worm castings, i am only feeding them plain non Ph tap water and probably will continue doing so until they have there second set of leaves or when i feel they need to start using nutrients. the seedlings are growing nice and cozy under my 600w MH 24/7 i got 2 humidifiers for dry days and a tower fan for good air circulation. in the photo you will see 2 extraction fans, one is for expelling hot air directly from the bulb and one to expel any additional ambient hot air & odors into the adjacent room where the air will make it's way out of the house. i also have 2 intake fans inhaling air from inside the house about 8 feet away from my window air conditioner that i use on extremely hot days, i also have a passive intake that sucks air from the outside in moderate amounts to replenish my co2 and bring in some good fresh air. My ballast / Timers / and electrical components are also located in the adjacent room to prevent any extra heat build-up.

my grow chamber is a sealed room concept, i have siliconed every crack and corner and sealed all my fans to create a strong negative pressure, absolutely no light can be seen in or out of my room, this is the first time i have ever created such a sophisticated room and i am proud of it. if anyone has any comments, suggestions or corrections please let me know, i am not a know-it-all grow geek, and i will take any logical constructive criticism, i am always trying to better myself in the art of horticulture.

my reasoning in doing this documentation is simple, i hope i can teach newer growers just like the afn community did for me. i really enjoy the time i spend building environments for my plant's to sustain a healthy life and to produce great medicine for my family and i. maybe one day i will own my dream Business and start growing medicine for any one who needs.
