I had a bit of a bad start to this grow, I made the newbie mistake of not having my water warm and killed one seed and caused another problem. One seed came up, center plant, but the other two didn't. I planted a Chanuk cheese auto, left pot, and waited a few days and planted a new KD, right pot. The seed I thought was dead in the left pot came up and the next day so did the cheese. Today the KD on the right looks like it will pop. So the plant in the center is 9 days old the other two about half that and I will call Thursday day one for the plant on the right. Lights are 2 bs240uv for veg and an old mars 100X3 added for bloom with three T5's added more for heat than effective light, 20/4 schedule. Two 6 inch clip on fans for circulation and a 6 inch duct booster fan with carbon filter for extraction. Three gallon air pots with black gold potting soil, a cup of lime and perlite per pot in a 2ftX4ftX7ft tent. Fox Farm nutrients and Advanced sensi cal/mag plus and superthrive for feeding. Spoke too soon. The KD on the right didn't make it. Have moved a Samsara supersonic crystal storm auto, day 2, in it's place.

The Kush Dr's are doing well, left and center left, except for a general pale color. The pot on the left seems to have gotten over my cold bath and is starting look better. The plants in the center pot look ok but the cheese (center plant) needs to start some vertical growth. The supersonic crystal storm, right, has a spot from me helping with the shell. Maybe I should stop helping. Lights are at 24 inches and just water with a few drops of superthrive so far. I really hate the gnats that come with soil, Pro-mix didn't have this issue. I tried diom-whatever earth and the damn bugs ran around on it like it was a race track. I got some fly paper and neem oil, I have just begun to fight.

Plant on the left (kd) is 15 days and the plants in the center pot are 10 & 9 days (center cheese, side kd) and the left is 9 days (sscs), lights at 26 inches. The two week old kd (left) got it's first FF feeding, 2 ml big bloom, 1 ml each grow big, microbrew, kangaroots and comeback at 6.7 ph yesterday. The others had about 2000ml of superthrive and 2 ml sensi cal/mag plus at 6.6 ph on Monday and will get their first FF feeding this weekend. The kush doctors are getting off to a quick start but I still would like to see a darker color in the oldest plant. I want the kd in the center pot to do well but I am too cheap to give up the cheese. The sscs will be much shorter and quicker than the rest so I hope to have extra room come peak bloom time for the kd's, early March maybe. The war on gnats isn't going as planned. The wife hates the smell of neem oil so I need more weapons.

Week 3 and things are still looking good. The oldest plant (left) is about 24 days and the others are a week behind. The kds are really fast growing compared to the cheese (center) or the sscs (right). Color is getting a bit better now thet everybody has started getting nutes. Lights are at about 25 inches and I will start pulling the plants apart in the center pot.

Looking good my friend! Never heard of this strain so looking forward see how they finish.

Set up looks ripe for some monster plants too!!!

All the plants are female and color has improved. Vertical growth on the KDs is very good and the other two, cheese auto and supersonic crystal storm auto, look good as well. The oldest plant is now 27 days and the other are 21 & 22 days. The lights are kept between 24-26 inches. The oldest plant is almost ready for every other day watering/feeding so I will cut the FF nutes by about half but not the cal/mag. If I see any tip burn I will adjust. So far the KD in the center pot is growing as well as the one by itself and the cheese seems ok.

Hey bud, what are you using to fight the gnats? I have been struggling to get them under control myself

Hey bud, what are you using to fight the gnats? I have been struggling to get them under control myself

Hello; I have a gallon of water bubbling outside the tent, which seems to attract them, and a strip of flypaper next to the water to catch them. They make a window flypaper card that I stake to the soil in the pot. There used to be some yellow cards that did the same thing but I can't find any. Next I think I might use a torch to burn the top one inch or so of soil before planting. I don't want to go back to pro-mix but these bugs drive me nuts.

A layer of sand helps, but with the air pots they can still come and go out the side . Sand helped my fabric pots. I just started using azamax, idk guess it's better than 7 dust! Tractor supply sells captain Jack powder and liquid too. I hate these lil bastards
